CLEANING CREW MEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
This position consists but is not limited to performing general cleaning tasks as trained in newly built houses/buildings and general cleaning at model homes and offices.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Employee shall conduct the following duties on a daily basis as trained (company standards)
Cleaning All Bathrooms: Vanity lights, mirrors, medicine cabinets, electrical plates, sinks, fixtures, counter tops, cabinets, drawers, under those drawers, tile, window frames and window tracks, bathtubs, showers/doors, toilets, doors, and baseboards. Remove any excess construction caulking and any product stickers. Finally, polish all stainless steel/chrome, sweep and mop floors; remove scuffs and paint from floors.
Cleaning Bedrooms, Hallways and Stairs: Doors, door frames, baseboards, chair railings, window tracks, window frames, window sills, dust seals from smoke detectors (entire home), vacuum out heater vents, vacuum carpet wall to wall, clean lights, electrical plates and wipe down stair rails. Window tracks and frames.
Cleaning Kitchen: Lights, inside cabinets, tops of cabinets, outside cabinets, pull all drawers (clean all surfaces including underneath), wipe down all appliances, window tracks and frames, baseboards, fixtures, countertops, sink, chair railings, toe kicks, ice maker box, vacuum out heat vents and clean floors wall to wall removing paint, scuffs and glue.
Cleaning All Other Rooms: Window tracks and frames, sills, fireplaces, doors, door frames, baseboards, chair railings, electrical plates, vacuum heat vents, wipe down heating cold air return, vacuum all carpets wall to wall, clean mirrors, clean cabinet tops, sweep and dust mop all hardwood floors with our wood floor process,1/2 wall caps, thresholds, slider tracks, furnace, water heater, duct work, pans, washer box, and Trash removal.
General Model Home/Spec Home Cleaning: Vacuuming, edging, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, sweeping, mopping, etc.
2. Employee must inspect and correct all defects before leaving house/building
a. Inspections must be completed per Inspection certification specifications/training
b. Inspection forms must be completed while walking through house
c. Defective items should be corrected as per training and before leaving site
3. Employee Shall Notify Management of:
a. Any items not in accordance with Job Ready Policy
b. Work that is not yet completed by other Final clean Staff (windows, French doors, etc)
c. Issues occurring on jobsite
d. Injuries/unsafe practices
e. Other Employees/Management in violation of Company policies/procedures
f. Delays in completing set work on schedule
4. Employee shall use in manner trained and take care of as not to waste or damage:
a. Vacuum Cleaners
b. Company Vehicles
c. Other Company Equipment (including phones, keys, etc)
d. Company Supplies
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Filling out Inspection Forms, Daily Logs, Completion Cards, etc as needed to complete daily tasks
Calling member of management upon commencement and completion of each job
REQUIRED
Clean and Valid Drivers License with no suspensions or revocations; Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
Must be able to read and take orders in English
PREFERRED
Experience in working in teams. Ability to perform with no direct supervision. Knowledge of construction sites.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
None at onset of employment. Inspection Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire. (Inhouse)

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Physical Requirements for Employment may include activities such as bending, lifting, walking, repetitive motion, using step ladder, being able to carry vacuum and cleaning equipment, moving at a fast pace for long periods of time. Work Environment will include working on construction sites in newly built subdivisions or commercial sites, traveling areas of district, and construction sites via vehicle on a daily basis
